Attorney
Matt Marske, Esq.

Matt Marske graduated from Indiana University Law School in Indianapolis. He has been
practicing law for over four years and gained crucial court room and criminal defense experience as a Public Defender in Indianapolis.

Matt’s competitive spirit led him to the realization that litigation in the court room was where
his skills were best utilized. This caused him to eventually land with the Public Defender Agency in Indianapolis. While with the Public Defender Agency, Matt handled a large caseload of clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies. He also learned how to handle himself in court while having to appear frequently every week. Matt quickly moved up the ranks from misdemeanor attorney to felony attorney within his first year at the Public Defender Agency. This is where he learned to quickly think on his feet and be prepared for the twists and turns of practicing in the court room. Matt has tried a variety of criminal cases as both 1 st chair and 2 nd chair. This includes getting a Not Guilty verdict while assisting as 2 nd chair on an Attempt Murder charge in October 2022.

Prior to law school, Matt attended Saint Louis University where he was the head basketball
manager for three NCAA Tournament teams. Matt then returned home to attend law school at Indiana
University in Indianapolis. While in law school, Matt was involved in Moot Court and also completed
internships with the NCAA, NFHS and a local NFL sports agency. On his own time, Matt also organized
and served as General Manager for multiple Saint Louis University Alumni Basketball Teams which
competed in the annual TBT Basketball Tournament that is broadcast on ESPN.

Matt’s wife graduated from medical school in the spring of 2023 and accepted a surgical
residency with Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. This caused Matt and his wife to quickly pack up
and move out west. Following his successful passage of the July 2023 Nevada Bar Exam, Matt joined
Hayes Wakayama Juan to further cultivate his excellent oral advocacy, persuasive writing, and overall
litigation skills. Matt brings a vast knowledge of the criminal justice system and has the skills necessary
to become a prominent civil litigator in the Las Vegas community.
